no image, but the vision is clear

There isn't an image nor photograph to accompany this post. However, my vision is more focused and clear than it's ever been.

Tonight, I was a part of FEO - For Each Other - held at Dane Sanders' studio and hosted by Jen Disney. And I must say, I was moved by the thirty or so photographers that showed up to talk, and share, and learn and grow together.

I have always maintained a mentality of togetherness and sharing with every photographer I meet...whether it be my event planner photographer friend who wants to buy a better camera, or my starting out photographer friend who is curious about which albums I use, or my super awesome photographer friend who wants to chat about business, life and love...we're all together, and I wouldn't be where I am today without my friends and all their two cent tosses my way.

But tonight was more than just a few cents here and there. The men and women who gathered tonight were there For Each Other. We all took away a better understanding and knowledge of our industry and ways to approach it, but more than gaining, we were all there to give.

And that's why I'm here. I'm here to give. I've always known that. I haven't always shown it.

But now I see. My vision is again clear. So here I sit, totally open and ready to give more of myself to them and to you.

And I'm gonna run with that.
